Creating new markers

Zenlocator allows you to create and customize markers for your locations. Markers can be useful to highlight some of your locations or better fit your branding by customizing the color, uploading your own images, ...

How to create a marker

• In your dashboard, navigate to Markers. A Default marker is already created and will be assigned to all your locations by default.
• Click "New".

  

• Enter your Marker name and click Create.

How to customize your marker

Zenlocator will automatically create default icons with a new color assigned. You can edit the color of your unselected and selected icons or upload your own images.

• Click on your newly created marker.

  

• To edit the color of your icons, click on the colored square by "Icon and Legend Color", and select the color of your choice on the color panel.

  

• To upload your own image, check the box next to Custom Image. You can upload a different image for your unselected icons and for your selected icons.

  

• Click Upload Image.
• Click Save. 

Note: You can remove your uploaded custom images by clicking "Remove". This will revert your markers to the default Zenlocator icons.
